It contains 100% NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) of Vitamins A and C and also the minerals Selenium and Zinc which all contribute to the normal function of the immune system. The added 10µg of Vitamin D (200% NRV), also plays a role in the normal function of the immune system. The Department of Health and Social Care recommend children aged 1 and over and adults should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms (µg) of vitamin D particularly during the autumn and winter months, when we are not able to absorb much sunlight.
Other nutrients included in this formulation are Magnesium and Vitamin E which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
